Easter Favorites?

Post by tattulip » Sat Mar 31, 2012 10:52 am

My church has a themed potluck once a month. This month is Easter Favorites. I feel like everyone will be bringing ham and cheesy potatoes!

What are YOUR Easter favorites? I will make that instead.

:noparty: tattulip doesn't eat rabbit! - not since her ex shot one before the first freeze and she cooked it. She forgot to put the leftovers in the frig before she went to bed and it was bubbling on the stovetop in the morning. :puke:

I can't think of a single food I associate with Easter. Either as a kid or an adult - I can't think of anything.

Except jelly beans.

Is there a certain recipe that you are tasked with...main dish, side dish, dessert, etc...?

One that is a real crowd pleaser is the Blackberry cream pie recipe that I got from my Costco cookbook..everyone has always raved about it, and it is what you would expect for springtime fare:

It is just as easy to make two at the same time.

I have used 50/50 mix of blackberries and blueberries, it turns out great also.

It was last Sunday. You have to bring a main dish and a side dish. I brought ham balls and a fruit salad. There was only one pan of cheesy potatoes.
