But great in the Summer too! I really enjoyed it.
10 cups chicken broth (I used boullion cubes)
3 cans Great Northern Beans, drained
1/2 pound of baby carrots, diced
6 slices bacon, pre-cooked and crumbled
1 medium onion, diced
1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsps minced garlic
Place all ingredients in 5-7 quart crock-pot and cook for 6-8 hours, or until beans are tender.
Serve with Italian or French bread slices.

Sounds good, have you tried different kinds of beans instead of that one?

I haven't. But I'm sure there are some good substitutions. I only made it that one time, so far. I think I'll make it again soon.LandLover wrote:Sounds good, have you tried different kinds of beans instead of that one?
Maybe I'll try a different bean this time around.
