Tex-Mex Chili Rice Dish...Sort Of

I just made this up so forgive me about amounts.

1lb Ground Sirloin
1/2 jar Mild Salsa of your choice
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 Tbls Chili powder
Pinch Red Pepper Flake
1/2 fresh Poblano Pepper seeded and chopped
1/2 cup Ketchhot
2 garlic cloves diced
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Shredded Mexican Cheese Mix To taste
Hot Cooked White Rice w/ a small can of Green Chiles added before cooking

Put Ground Sirloin in hot pan with garlic and Poblano pepper and cook until meat is almost done. Add Salsa and other ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes then spoon over hot rice. Top with cheese. enjoy. Yum Yum

Actually it wasn't that hot.

Actually it wasn't that hot.
poblano peppers can be hotter in certain seasons. Green chliies are mild. That recipe shouldn't be really hot.
