porterhouse steak

Post by College Boy » Sat Mar 22, 2008 2:01 pm

I cook this every Saturday.

Ingredients:

1 porterhouse steak (1-2lb)
string beans (1-2lb)
garlic (one head)
Emeril's Steak Rub
olive oil
Sam Adams beer

A few hours before you plan to cook it, put Emeril's Steak Rub on one side, cover, and put in the refrigerator. Put the beer glass in the freezer. When it is time to cook, put about one inch of water in the vegetable steamer and put it on the stove to get hot. slice 3-6 cloves of garlic, put them in a pan with olive oil, and put them on low heat. When the water begins to boil. put the string beans in the steamer tray. Put steak on the grill. After five minutes, remove string beans from steamer to bowl and pour garlic and oil over it. Toss. Turn steak over. Cook steak for another six minutes or until desired wellness. Take beer glass out of freezer. Pour Sam Adams into glass. Place steak on plate. Serve with a fork and a steak knife.

Is this a sequel, or a new novel?

Get rid of that green stuff, and you will be fine.

:shakehead: It all looks yummy! Especially the green stuff!
You can't see it, but there is half a head of garlic in that green stuff.

As am I. I don't even trust people that don't like garlic.
