It was different than what I usually do, liking my chicken isp, but it was cooked beautifully all the way through, and much more 'Moist; than when I Oven Roast or BBQ it. Also the Jus was excellent, didn't need to make a Gravy.

Re: DUTCH OVEN WHOLE ROAST CHICKEN

All this talk about chicken has brought to mind a funny conversation between my mother and sister, both now deceased. It always makes me laugh when I think about it. " Brenda: " I think I'll make a roast chicken for dinner on Sunday." Mom: "Make sure the butcher gives you a capon." Brenda; "What is ...

It's difficult to believe that one can't get genuine Italian or French Breads these days. Almost every market near me carries a pretty good supply of Artisan Breads ...I couldn't live without them. Re: BAGNA CAUDA (a request)

Bagna Cauda is an Italian Anchovy-Garlic Dip , as I recall it’s from the Northwest region of Italy, near the mountains. It’s made from Olive Oil, Garlic, Anchovies, and either Butter or sometimes Cream. The northwest region of Italy is correct, the town of Moncalvo, which I believe is near Turin. I...

The cheddar & broccoli is outstanding. If you can make it better from scratch you're a Cordon Bleu chef. I add a can of chicken. I hate to bust your bubble, but I better warn you that soup has 990 grams of sodium, and that's for only 1/4 cup dry. If you have high blood pressure or any related heart...

A couple of tips... A little Lawry's seasoned salt is often a quick fix. A small pinch of cayenne or five drops of Tabasco sauce. If you taste the hotness, you added too much...put it will add a little "something" that you won't quite put your finger on. Other than that, all I can say is to make su...

Chicken wings

These are the best chicken wings I ever had. Very flavorful, easy recipe from Allrecipes.com. I made only minor changes. I omitted the salt, and I used unsalted butter, because the cheese and the flavored bread crumbs have more than enough salt. The outside was just as crispy as if they had been dee...
