Re: Deep-dish 'za

Yum...double Yum. Ya can't go wrong with Pizza, and the variations are almost endless. I make most of my own Pizzas, traditional quality ingredients for the Dough. One 'Step' I found improved the Pizza is Refrigeration, often called 'Retarding '. Usually for 4 to 24 hours. Retarding a dough is the ...

Re: Deep-dish 'za

Contained provolone, proscioutto, pepperoni, mozzarella, sauce, mushrooms and grated parm. http://extras.ourpatioparty.com/files/2213/9260/0347/Deep_Dish_Pizza_in_Cast_Iron-636w.jpg Greased the pan well enough that the 'za...

Deep-dish 'za

For crust I used a variation of an Infomercial Product's 'almost-instant pizza dough,' adding some butter, olive oil and cornmeal. Dough patted into a nine-inch round pan. Filled with sliced provolone, meatballs, pepperoni, some sauce that was in the fridge, mozzarella, and a little parm. Still not ...

Re: Master Built Smoker

Thanks.

Awesome. Love the modification.

Also never heard of using towels to control heat. Any other advice? We still have a butt to cook this winter. The neighbors literally saved our butt after the storm by letting us hook the f ridge to their generator.

Re: Master Built Smoker

I use a Brinkmann electric smoker and it works great. http://www.brinkmann.net/products/outdoor_cooking/electric_smokers_and_grills/details.aspx?item=810-5304-E It turns out a better product than the $$$$$$ smokers my friends have. I control the temperature by how many bath towels I drape over it. ...

Where's the drool smilie?

We had crock pot spareribs. Not bad! Methinks we started a new Christmas tradition.
