Grind nothing but the freshest of Coffee Beans based on years of experience with the local markets...rarely Supermarkets. My Brewer has SETTING CONTROLS of the Water Type, The Temperature, and the Flow Rate, and it Automatically Pauses to Bloom the Coffee....which at one time I had to do myself. I ...

As for the old Coffee ! thread : http://www.covertconservatives.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=212 I sample coffee all over the world and have had some amazing cups. What I finally realized was that all the best ones were ground immediately before either a pour over brew, or an espresso brew. As fo...

I love the taste of popcorn, but after a handful, it makes me nauseous. Got no clue why. I can eat a whole can of corn, or 3 ears of corn with no problem.

Re: CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE
That is a load of work, and I'm sure enjoyable for a days adventure. But I grew up with a family that basically boiled all the above ingredients, (minus the things that make it taste good) Then one day, the MIL served some cabbage and corn beef, all fried up in a pan. One of the best dishes I ever ...

My wife can eat at an Italian restaurant and I know it as soon as she walks in the house, and for a day or two later. Me, I can eat garlic by volumes and no one knows. Years ago I read where nibbling on parsley will eliminate the smell. It's not the mouth that smells, it's the lungs that are dischar...

Re: Ham Glaze
I'm reminded when I first got to the age of legal drinking. At a get together of a bunch of newbie drankers, this one chick was catching her first buzz....
Staring up in the air, she says...."I feel glazed....like a ham"....
(good times)

Re: Ham Glaze
The ham I cooked had a small package of glaze with it. I had to mix it with water.
I'm sure at the grocery, over in the packaged gravy/ instant potato mix section, there should be a mix for about a buck.

Oat meal is slimy. Sorta like okra.
I've always been a Cream of Wheat type of guy.
But hey, for what it's worth, the wife uses it in her bath.

Can't believe these jerks! Two of them made about 2 dozen posts each in here. Luckily, I can remove all of them at once. Interesting thing I learned a while back... Over in certain countries, there are places that a computer is set up. Locals pay to get access for hours at a time. One particular gr...

Well, since we're talking about gay porn..... Down at Myrtle beach, 30 years ago, I was looking for a really cool bar to go have some beers. In the phone book, there was a place called "off shore drilling company". It was at the end of a long pier, and I just figured something like oil rig guys, rou...

Ok, since you guys are twisting my arm..... When I was about 12, I went on a camping trip with a local scientist and a few other select kids. This was on the Appalachian trail around the greater Roanoke area. We stumbled across a rattler, and the adults decided to kill it. Of coarse the educational ...

My wife has one. So far, I've not had anything out of it I liked. But then again, we've not experimented much with it.
